Our Return Policy & Refund Process

Every Jebij piece is crafted to order in our fourth-generation workshop, and we want you to love yours. If it isn't right, here is exactly how returns work — no fine print surprises.

🔄 How the return process works

1. Start your return. Email info@jebij.com or message us on WhatsApp within 30 days of delivery with your order number.
2. Receive your return authorisation. We confirm eligibility and send your return address with step-by-step instructions. US orders return to our Texas return centre — a domestic shipment, no customs. Orders from all other countries return to our workshop in India, with the full address and simple customs paperwork included in your authorisation.
3. Ship it tracked and insured. Pack the piece in its original packaging with all certificates and documentation. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you; please use a tracked, insured service — your item remains your responsibility until it reaches us. For international returns, mark the shipment "returned goods" exactly as our instructions show so customs doesn't delay or charge it.
4. Inspection and refund. We inspect your return on arrival and issue your refund to the original payment method. That's it.

🌍 Returning from outside the United States

Jebij ships worldwide, and returns work from every country we deliver to. Three things international customers should know:

• 📍 Your return travels to our workshop in India — the same fourth-generation workshop where your piece was made. The full address arrives with your return authorisation; please don't ship anything before receiving it.
• 📄 We handle the customs complexity for you. Your authorisation includes simple, copy-ready customs wording — declaring the shipment as "returned goods" — so your parcel clears smoothly without import charges or delays. If your courier asks anything unusual, message us and we'll sort it together.
• 🕑 Allow one to two weeks for international transit. Your refund timeline doesn't change: once your return arrives, inspection and refund still complete within 7 business days, and we email you at every step — arrival, inspection, refund.

And to be clear: if your order arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, the return costs nothing wherever you live — we'll arrange a prepaid label or fully reimburse your return shipping.

💍 Personalised & bespoke pieces — final sale, with no surprises

Pieces made with your personal details — custom engraving, names, dates, or bespoke commissions through our Custom Jewellery service — are final sale, because they're made uniquely for you. To make that fair, we take approval seriously before anything is crafted:

• 📷 Design approval before production begins. For bespoke commissions, we share the design and stone details for your sign-off before crafting starts.
• 📷 Final photos before dispatch. You'll see your finished piece before it ships — no surprises on arrival.
• ✅ Standard initial-letter designs from our catalogue are not personalised items — they're returnable like any standard design.
• 🛡️ Personalised pieces are always covered against defects, transit damage, and wrong-item errors — see above.

💫 Free ring resizing

If your ring isn't a perfect fit, we'll resize it once, free, within your 30-day window. You cover shipping to us; the resize and the shipping back are on us. Not sure of your size before ordering? Our ring size chart can help.

📝 Return conditions

🔄 Prefer an exchange or store credit?

If you'd rather have a different size, metal, or design, choose an exchange or store credit instead of a refund — same 30-day window, same conditions.

📐 Product accuracy & industry tolerances

We photograph and describe every piece as accurately as possible. A few standard tolerances of fine jewellery to know:

• Images may appear larger or smaller than life, and colours can vary slightly with screen settings.
• Total carat weight may vary by up to 0.1 carat, and ring carat weight can vary with ring size.
• Gemstone and pearl measurements may vary by up to 0.5 mm; finishing processes carry standard manufacturing tolerances.
• For multi-diamond pieces, total carat weight reflects the stated minimum or average.

📜 Certification

All natural and lab-grown diamond jewellery ships with IGI or GIA certification and hallmarked gold purity; moissanite is certified by GRA. Certificates are part of your piece — please include them with any return.
